Some key figures on your P&L are your costs, or expenses. A P&L is perhaps the most important financial document in your accounting records. The P&L gives you an idea of your restaurant's financial health over a period of time, measuring whether or not you are profitable. It contains the revenue and expenses of a restaurant in a given period of time, showing your costs subtracted from your sales, and your gross and net profits. Once you know your sales, you'll want to enter it into a periodic P&L statement.Ī restaurant P&L, or profit and loss statement, is the restaurant's income statement or statement of earnings. Knowing your periodic sales figures is key to understanding your financials and the health of your restaurant business. You can break down your sales in various ways, by category or even individual dishes. You can then enter this information and aggregate it onto an Excel sheet. Oftentimes, your POS will allow you to generate a daily sales report in which you find your cash, credit card sales, and a summary of sales by category: food, beverages, alcohol, etc. You can track your daily sales and deposits, which you will find reported from your POS system. A restaurant sales sheet is an MS Excel spreadsheet that allows you to track your daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly sales. You'll want to keep a restaurant balance sheet, which measures your assets, liabilities, and equity at a given point in time, a cash flow statement, which measures your cash flow, and an income statement, or P&L, which measures your revenue, expenses, and profit in a period of time.Ī supplemental way to track your financial health is by using a restaurant sales sheet. There are many ways to do restaurant accounting and track your establishment's financial health. How to Measure Your Restaurant's Financial Health You can do this by practicing effective inventory management. To lower your COGS, conserve more inventory, buy less inventory, or find ways to lower your food costs. Net Profit = Gross Profit (Total Sales - COGS) - Labor Cost + Total Operating Cost.Ī lower COGS means a higher net profit. To find your Net Profit, you subtract your COGS and labor costs from your sales, then add back total operating costs. To find your COGS, the equation is COGS= Beginning Inventory + Purchased Inventory - Ending Inventory. Your COGS calculation is composed of your restaurant inventory. Once you sell it, it becomes part of your COGS, or cost of goods sold, and is categorized as an expense. When you first buy food, it is considered an asset on your restaurant balance sheet as long as it sits in your restaurant. Separate your inventory by items that are found in different areas of the restaurant, such as the back or house or kitchen, front of house, and bar.įood inventory consists of all the items or raw materials used to make each menu item, also known as finished goods. This includes your food, liquor, dry storage, cooking utensils, uniforms, or linens. Inventory includes everything that costs money in your restaurant. What is Considered Inventory for a Restaurant? By identifying these cost variances with a restaurant inventory management system, you can proactively control your food costs in the future. This may mean there is theft or over-portioning. You can calculate both your restaurant and bar's inventory usage.Ĭompare this inventory usage number with your POS product usage, and if the actual inventory usage is greater, dig deeper. Count the beginning inventory, add purchases during the day, subtract your ending inventory at the end of the day, and you will see the amount of each inventory item that was used during the day. Control your costs by keeping a regular inventory cycle count of the top 10-15 products that comprise most of your food costs.

The following is the log excerpt from last night when it occurred most recently. Other electrical at the base include spotlights, auto turrets (shotgun and SMG), and blade traps. Land claim is mine, my partner set up the fences. Situation - playing a co-op game hosted on someone else's computer.Įlectric fences are located at our horde base, hooked to a switch. Yesterday, i showed this base to another player and strangly i did NOT get any NullReferenceExceptionerrors, but the other player did!Ī few 100 meters besides this base, i have another base with electric fence posts, were the NullReferenceExceptionerrors never occured (same electricity setup, but only with 4 instead 6 dart traps)Īs far as i know, the FunPimps were never able to reproduce this error until now.ĭoes anyone else still get this error sometimes in A20 ? I had this bug happing since A17, if i remember correctly. So i never did a bloodmoon in this base, because of this error. So i rewired all electricity in my base, as i have read this tip a few times to fix this bug, but after rewiring the problem still occured in the same way. When i tested the base for the first time, the console opened and spammed NullReferenceExceptionerrors as soon as the first zombie ran into the electric fence posts.Īfter killing all Zombies by spamming the F1 key and trying to aim+shoot and with the help of my Junkturret, the errors stopped as soon as no zombie was triggering the electric fence posts anymore. All powered by a generator with 6 engines. I also have one BM Base with 6 Electric Fence Posts connected in a chain, 2 trip wires connected to a dart trap which is chained to 5 more dart traps. So when i was far enough from that base, the errors stopped in the console and i could continue playing normally. I managed to enable DM and teleport away about a few 100 meters, by clicking on the map to teleport. It happened to me one day, when i was passing a players base on our dedicated server. I noticed the bug that opens the console and spams NullReferenceExceptionerrors because of electric fence posts is still there in alpha 20.5 (b2) stable. We also wipe the dedicated server and start a fresh, new map with every major alpha release and we only install the stable releases. I clean game data with the launcher on every major alpha release and did another clean before A20.5 (b2) stable, so it is unlikely that some obsolety leftovers are the cause. The best thing about AVplayer is that I don’t have to manually select an aspect ratio, it does that automatically. There are no massive black bars on top and bottom and on left and right. In AVplayer you tap on the screen a couple of times and it changes the aspect ratio in such a way that apart from a couple of millimetres on the left and right, the whole screen displays the video. When I play videos in Infuse I am never able to auto adjust the aspect ratio like I can do in AVPlayer. Given that it is a free app I will not complain much but doesn’t matter how good the app looks and how many features it has, its main purpose still is to play a video. They wrote about the cohort in their books Generations: The History of America's Future, 1584 to 2069 (1991) and Millennials Rising: The Next Great Generation (2000). They coined the term in 1987, around the time children born in 1982 were entering kindergarten, and the media were first identifying their prospective link to the impending new millennium as the high school graduating class of 2000. Authors William Strauss and Neil Howe, known for creating the Strauss–Howe generational theory, are widely credited with naming the millennials. Members of this demographic cohort are known as millennials because the oldest became adults around the turn of the millennium. Millennials across the world have suffered significant economic disruption since starting their working lives many faced high levels of youth unemployment during their early years in the job market in the wake of the Great Recession, and suffered another recession in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. īetween the 1990s and the 2010s, people from the developing world became increasingly well educated, a factor that boosted economic growth in these countries. In the West, they are less likely to be religious than their predecessors, but they may identify as spiritual. In the developed world, young people of the 2010s were less inclined to have sexual intercourse compared to their predecessors when they were at the same age. Those in developing nations will continue to constitute the bulk of global population growth. Millennials were born at a time of declining fertility rates around the world, and are having fewer children than their predecessors. Īcross the globe, young people have postponed marriage or living together as a couple. The generation has also been weighed down by student debt and child-care costs. Millennials have also been called the "Unluckiest Generation" because the average millennial has experienced slower economic growth since entering the workforce than any other generation in U.S. The term " digital natives", which is now also applied to successive generations, was originally coined to describe this generation. The generation is generally marked by elevated usage of and familiarity with the Internet, mobile devices, and social media. Īs the first generation to grow up with the Internet, Millennials have also been described as the first global generation. In turn millennials are often the parents of Generation Alpha. Most millennials are the children of baby boomers and older Generation X. Researchers and popular media use the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years, with the generation typically being defined as people born from 1981 to 1996. Millennials, also known as Generation Y (often shortened to Gen Y), are the demographic cohort following Generation X and preceding Generation Z. This dash light will come on when the ESC system kicks on. It monitors your wheel speed and steering inputs and applies your brakes in the way necessary to prevent spinning or sliding off your vehicle. The whole job of stability control is to keep your vehicle heading in your intended direction. If your tires are not below the recommended pressure, you may have a faulty tire pressure sensor that needs to be replaced.Īnother component of your anti-lock braking system is electronic stability control (ESC). This light can alert you when you have a low tire due to a puncture or simply seasonal temperature changes. It's best to stop in a safe location and assess the condition of your tires. Some vehicles may show you exactly which tire is low in pressure, while others may not. This light signals that one of your tires is underinflated. Your tire pressure warning light is a yellow light with an exclamation point surrounded by a tire. A very common reason this light comes on is a faulty wheel speed sensor. An ABS system is intended to help enhance your braking performance on slippery roads by pulsing your brake pedal so that it doesn't lock up. This light will illuminate when there's a problem with your anti-lock braking system. It features a yellow or red-colored circle with the letters "ABS" in the middle. The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) warning light is one of the most identifiable. Your car can overheat due to a number of issues, including a broken head gasket, stuck thermostat, broken water pump, leaky radiator, or a hole in your coolant hoses. It's best to pull over and turn off your vehicle so that it can cool down. This is a very serious problem that needs to be addressed before you continue to drive your vehicle. When this light comes on, it means that your engine is overheating. You'll notice this indicator light by a red thermometer. On some newer cars, the dashboard display will say "Service Engine Soon" or "Check Engine." You'll notice this light by a red or amber color that features an outline of an engine. This could be something as simple as a loose gas cap or as serious as an engine misfire. However, it's not overly specific about what the problem may be. This light is intended to warn you of engine-related issues. Probably the most common dash light that you'll have come on is the check engine light. With so many components, it's no surprise that many things can go wrong. In fact, the average car coming off of the production line has over two dozen computer modules that assist in running the vehicle and all of its included features. There's no denying the fact that modern vehicles are very complex machines. It does, however, most likely mean that you have developed a small coolant leak, and it would be best to figure that out and fix it. Add coolant to the reservoir (as per manual instructions as to mix and type) and that will almost certainly fix the light. When you heat up the car, coolant expands and the overflow goes out the reservoir, and covers the sensor but the car doesn’t update the light until the next time you start it. When the car cools down the coolant contracts and gets sucked back into the radiator/cooling system, and the sensor goes dry and triggers the light. (From below the radiator cap, follow a black rubber hose to a plastic tank that has coolant in it). The sensor for the coolant level is in your overflow reservoir. JetBrains offers a couple of models for licensing. I managed to reasonably animate the arms, something that the tutorial didn’t cover (it seemed strange to me that the character walks with his arms still). I practiced this experience in Krita, with an old character of mine: The Doki Doki Drawing channel brings an interesting limited animation tutorial of a small scene, in which a character walks along a corridor. In animes this technique is also used, usually in smaller and short scenes, with a few seconds in duration. One of the advantages of this style of animation is that it makes it cheaper: the fewer drawings, the lower the costs and time spent to make them. To know what it’s like, just watch any episode of “The Flintstones”, “The Jetsons” or other animation produced by the studio. Limited animation, as far as I know, was introduced by Hanna Barbera. Certain moves are repeated several times, from one episode to another…or even in the same episode. In this type of animation, the character does not move all the time on the screen, sometimes only part of it moves (like the head and arms). That’s why the concept of limited animation was born. By default, for one second movement on the screen, 24 drawings are needed! Of course, certain movements are possible to animate with 12 drawings, even less depending on what it is… still, it’s not an easy task. The animation process is usually labor intensive and requires a lot of drawings. My program is in Brazilian Portuguese… but I don’t think it will (much) harm the understanding.
